Well that’s about it! I’ll be posting my June TBR tomorrow and you all will be able to help my choose a book! That should be great fun!

I'm an avid reader and love most all books, but my favorite genres tend to be mystery, adventure, science fiction and classics. Genres I tend to shy away from include romance, contemporary fiction and chick lit. If I’m not actually reading books, I’m probably at work shelving them at my local library.

I’ve read The Time Machine and War of the World – both excellent. I still haven’t read Mowat’s book.

I LOVE AND ADORE Call of the Wild! Seriously, it is such a great book. Jack London was such a fascinating author too… I read a book about letters and read the ones he sent to his daughter, so enlightening when taken in relation to this book as well. 🙂

I liked the story overall but could barely tolerate the abusive on Buck and the other dogs and all the death. It did have an ok ending…I guess…but im still mourning the other dogs….and its been 2 weeks. :/ 🙁 I’m probably too sensitive to animals lol. I will look into those letters though. 🙂

I love the new design! I’ve been wanting to redesign my blog but the problem is, I’m not sure what I want to do. I thought I had made up my mind but it turns out I found a new concept I liked and well now I’m torn. Congrats on being chosen as a moderator for the classics club! That is really awesome. What does all that entail?

I hope you have a wonderful August!

It was hard for me to design mine too. Mostly because the none of the themes were exactly what I wanted. This one wasn’t perfect either, but I was able to customize the css and php. So I feel really happy with it now. Although I have already seen a new theme I also like. lol. For the classics club, i’ll be handling new members entries and the twitter acct. 😀

Thanks, I keep trying to think what kind of things I should add to my post. I think next time i’ll add a quote of the month. 🙂

You read the classics in July! I hate to admit that I’ve never read these books with the exception of Call of the Wild, which I recall loving as a kid.

Call of the Wild was ok… I really like Buck…but it was hard to read… Maybe i’ll try to read it again later…i’ll have a better idea of what to think and maybe the shock value won’t distract me from the story so much.
