I'm an avid reader and love most all books, but my favorite genres tend to be mystery, adventure, science fiction and classics. Genres I tend to shy away from include romance, contemporary fiction and chick lit. If I’m not actually reading books, I’m probably at work shelving them at my local library.

I absolutely LOVED 100 Years of Solitude! I definitely wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked it up from a Take a Book, Leave a Book Library in Peru but I devoured this book quickly. I am actually sad that I traded that book away.. I may need to buy a copy eventually.

I hope you enjoy your time with the Buendias!

I think I will like it too! I’ve heard such great things and now that I’ve read the synopsis, it sounds very intriguing! I’m reading one book for review but then I think I will start it! 🙂
