Sounds like a good reading month. How did you like The Jewel? I have it on my shelf but haven’t gotten around to it yet and I still am doubting if it is really going to be for me.

I liked it pretty well. It began pretty slow but I like “exploring” the jewel and learning about all the politics. The next two books are pretty good also…but they are pretty different in how they are laid out. If you like book 1, I think the other two are worthy reads though. The whole series made me a bit sad overall though… :/

I think it is pretty awesome that you joined the Classics club. I want to read more classics because I feel like I miss out on some good books.
I hope you have a wonderful July!

That’s about the number I’ve read too. I don’t know how people ready 10s of books in a month! I love classics; I will have to check that out!

Yeah, I dont understand that either. I’ve seen people on “Bookstagram” that read a whole book (250 pages) in like 2 or 3 hours. I find that amazing!! I definitely cant to that though. A 250 pages book takes me like a week …or more. lol. I admire them though. Thanks for coming by.

Such a great idea to put your reading statistics for the month! 🙂

Thanks!! I found this super nifty spreadsheet on youtube that calculates all these stats and figures. Love using it!! I’m reading more just so I have something to enter into it. 😀 Thanks for coming by.

I haven’t read a literary classic in ages. A classics club sounds fun. I love the covers of the books you read in June.

I really loved The Jewel, but I don’t think I ever read the other two books. You’ve reminded me that I need to do that!

I really like the series as a whole but the second and third books seem very different than the first. Overall, it’s great though.
