Good bye Summer & Hello Autumn! Well summer is official over in about 30 minutes! Wow, the year is moving soooo fast. I feel like I can barely keep up. I wanted to let you guys know about on updates to the blog and some upcoming things you can look forward to.
#1. I know I haven’t blog or read much in July. and that is mainly because I’ve been sick. I’ve been taking a summer class, and i’m preparing to possibly move to another state! Charles has interviewed and is wanting on a offer letter for a big coming outside of Washington DC. The chances of him getting the job and us having to move in the next 30 days is about 99%. While I’m super excited about this and so ready for something new, my blog however may suffer even more though! I honestly don’t plan on to spend much time on my “bookish interests” over the next few weeks. So I will be on a mini hiatus, but I do plan on coming back on October 1st because I have a huge plan for October!
#2. In October, I plan on hosting a Frankenstein readalong here on my blog. I will be posting all kinds of posts about the book and author as well as discussion questions. I will adoringly call it FrankenFest! Be on the lookout for a intro post very soon!
My Autumn reading list will include all the books I plan to finish, read completely or atleast start during the next 3 months. I unfortunately have a huge back log from summer, so that’s kind of a bummer!

“Gone with the Wind” is my all-time #1. I’ve been obsessed since I was 14-years-old and my mom placed her 1936 original edition in my eager hands! I rarely re-read books, but this one I’ve completed 4 times so far. The last of which was just a year ago. “Pride and Prejudice” is also in my top 10 of all time. Yet another I have re-read 3 times and I do plan to do so again at some point. Enjoy!
p.s. I have yet to read “Frankenstein”! Maybe I will see you around FrankenFest!

Wow – sounds like Sept could be a BIG month for you both!!
I thought I was feeling time poor, but moving house and state is, well,… I’m exhausted early on your behalf!
A copy of Frankenstein has found its way onto my TBR pile, so I will be joining you in Oct 🙂
Until then, good luck!
