#FridayFeature Shadow Breakers by Daniel Blythe
This week’s book is one i got from Ollie’s. I was driving home and since the rain was too hard to see the road and it was getting dark, i decided to stop off and see which new books they had. I originally pick out about 4, but then narrowed it down to just this one. I’m hoping to read in either around Christmas or in the New Year! Right now, I’m still reading Wildcat and Moby Dick! I know, so slow!

November TBR & Featured Books
While I’m sad to see Halloween end I’m super happy for November (my birthday month) and the start of the holiday season. I may have been a bit ambitious on October’s TBR and readathons (the usual really), so for November I plan on scaling back on the required reads and doing more mood/optional reading.

The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte
This book struck a cord very close to home for me. Having to deal with alcoholism within my own family and being a Psychology Major, I feel I can better relate to the struggles and emotions in the story. The overwhelming theme in the book is a woman’s fight to keep her child safe while still struggling to come to terms with her relationship and responsibilities to her abusive husband. I saw this very struggle as a child growing up, so i’m very familiar with how damaging it can be and all of the ways it can play out. One thing I’ve been seeing in other reviews is how a…
