This week’s book is a book i got from the library a few weeks back. I still haven’t gotten the chance to even start it, but the excerpts sound amazing. The writing sounds so conversational. I hope i can read this one soon! Right now, I’m still reading Wildcat and Moby Dick! I know, so slow!

Book Tour: Crimival (Carousel Crimes) by R.L. Walker

    October 4, 2019 / 1 Comment

Today’s post is a very special one. I don’t do a lot of book tours, but when I read the synopsis of this book and series, I knew I had to read it and do the tour. It’s a great mystery with paranormal elements. It’s also the perfect book for October and Halloween. This book tour is hosted over at YA Bound Book Tours. Check out the official post for the full tour schedule.

Crimival: Carousel Crimes by R.L. Walker

    October 4, 2019 / 0 Comments

This was a delightful read. I frequent a lot of fairs and carnivals and always wondered what it would be like to work for one and constantly be moving. I liked the imagery that the author gives about the setup and tear down being similar to a life cycle. That’s a great way to think about it and adds a lot of atmosphere to the story. I really liked Zoe, though she seems to be a lot older than 16. She can pretty much handle her food stand and business on her own. Besides that one issue with Uncle Ike, she’s doing great and it’s nice to see a young…

This week’s book is a book i received for review. I will be posting my review today also, so be on the look out if this sounds interesting to you. Next week, I’ll still be reading Wildcat and Moby Dick! I hope to finish Wildcat soon, so maybe a review in the next few weeks? Really enjoying it so far. For Mody Dick, I’m following the official Schedule.

    October TBR & Readathons

    September 30, 2019 / 0 Comments

October!! YESS!! October is my favorite month! And it’s also my favorite time of year to read and do readathons! This October I plan on participating in 4. Crazy large amount…I know! Not sure if i’ll finish, but I really want to dedicate October to reading! Since i have a reading limit of 6ish books a month, I’ve decided to double up as much as possible…which makes this pretty challenging. I may need to change these up mid-month.
