Reading events are pretty much the #1 reason i want to have and keep a blog...beside of course keeping my reviews together... Readathons and my most favorite thing ever!

    October TBR & Readathons

October!! YESS!! October is my favorite month! And it’s also my favorite time of year to read and do readathons! This October I plan on participating in 4. Crazy large amount…I know! Not sure if i’ll finish, but I really want to dedicate October to reading! Since i have a reading limit of 6ish books a month, I’ve decided to double up as much as possible…which makes this pretty challenging. I may need to change these up mid-month.

    Bout of Books 26

Yes! It’s Bout of Books time! Are you participating? I’ve participated in about 8 out of the 26 round. I’m soo excited to start this one! My reading plans for this event is to mainly finish One Bad Apple and to make a lot of progress in Moby Dick. I also hope to post some backlog reviews! My favorite part of these events is the community, so hopefully I can meet some new bloggers and finish the challenges!

    Moby Dick Readalong

Have you heard? Brona is doing a Moby Dick Readalong!! Moby Dick is one of my favorite books of all time. Up there with my H.G. Wells and Jules Verne favorites! I’m soo excited! I read it for the first time last summer and even bought a special leather-bound edition because I liked it so much. I hadn’t planned to read it again so soon…but why not? It’s a great book. The readalong will be from August 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020. Brona has a schedule up that spaces it at about 3 to 4 chapters a week! We will be using #MobyDickReadalong on social media.

  • 24in48 Readathon

    24 in 48 Readathon

It’s readathon time again and soo soon! Woot! The 24 in 48 readathon is a super intense readathon where eryone aspires to read 24 hours out of the 48 hour weekend! I have participated in two of these in the past but haven’t succeeded yet with the 24 hours. I do have high hopes for this weekend though. I am off work all weekend and I have no foreseeable responsibilities that could distract me. Yay!

    Most Anticipated Books

Welcome to my post about my most anticipated books. This installment will be for books release in January 2019 to June 2019. I will post another one in June for the second half of the year. This list was pretty hard to narrow down to ten…..especially after looking at May’s offering….but here’s the ones I choose!
